The Chicopee Comp Colts take on the Longmeadow Lancers tomorrow in the first round of the Division I playoffs. The winner will advance to the Division I superbowl against the winner of the No. 1 Central (10-1) vs. No. 4 Minnechaug (7-4) matchup.
My colleague at Masslive and The Republican, Russ Held is the heralded Pigskin Prophet and his prediction of the game is more bulletin board material for the Colts.
LONGMEADOW 24, Chicopee Comp 14
More bulletin board material for Comp, more playoff success for Lancers
Nonetheless he's predicting a close game, and that bodes well for the Colts if they are to make the improbable upset. They are facing a Wing-T offense for the third week in a row, and quarterback Tom Duffy has been stellar the last two weeks. The spread offense is in high gear, can the Colts keep things rolling? We'll find out Tuesday night.
More work to be done.Fall sports are still very much alive!Beat Longmeadow tomorrow night!
